Malama in Hawaiian means to "take care". I'm born & raised in Hawai'i (Island of Oahu) and I started this to document my journey. We left Hawai'i & moved to Colorado & my husband received the worst news in July 2017 a few days before his birthday from his primary care physician in Colorado. He has leukemia...his PCP didn't say what kind of leukemia & referred him to see an oncologist for further follow-up. We learned that he has CLL (chronic lymphocytic leukemia) which attacks the lymphatic system & we don't know how he got it as he didn't fit the criteria of people that were diagnosed with CLL.
Long story short, we made the move to Las Vegas in 2022 & decided to change our diet & our lifestyle. We've been researching foods & wellness plans to help him cope with CLL & make him feel better.
I've been doing alot of research on various foods to create nutritious meals that are good for your health. How does eating foods from around the world with health benefits sound? Keep reading to get more information.
Eating healthy foods may not always be enough & that's where taking vitamins is an essential part of taking care of your body. We've be taking BodyHealth supplements for the past 2 months and haven't felt better.
